REGULAR MAINTENANCE – All of those important manufacturer recommendations, like oil changes, filters, fluids, tire rotations, spark plugs, timing belts, batteries, water pumps, wiper blades, inspections – the list goes on – we do it all and we have many common parts in stock.
(We can print out a chart of required maintenance specific to your car if you don’t know when it’s due for what).
EXPERT DIAGNOSIS – We invest heavily in the knowledge, resources and modern tools necessary to accurately figure out those untimely quirks. We genuinely enjoy solving under-the-hood mysteries: squeaks, creaks, leaks, hiccups and even mysterious dashboard warning lights.
TIRES & TIRE PRESSURE SYSTEMS – Yes! We do tires and, oh man, is David a tire geek! Sales, mounting and computerized balancing. We’re happy to repair flats, change inner tubes and add studs to your snow tires when possible. We are also equipped to repair those annoying Tire Pressure warnings.
PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTIONS – If you’re thinking about buying or selling a vehicle, swing it by for a thorough inspection. For the small investment of an hour or so of our labor, you could save thousands of dollars and major headaches later on.
(Please note that we do not do Massachusetts State Inspections, but we can do a “pre-inspection inspection” to make sure you’ll pass).
RESTORATIONS – Have a car or motorcycle that’s been sitting around? Modern or classic, we’d love to bring it back to life!
BRAKES – Okay, do we need to even mention that we do brakes? Everyone does brakes. But our no-compromise brake repairs are thorough and guaranteed. We can also dig deep into traction control and anti-lock braking issues.
AIR CONDITIONING – Yup. We have the certification and expensive machinery required to repair vehicle air conditioning systems without compromising our environment.
ENGINES & TRANSMISSIONS – Dana’s happy place is deep inside of an engine. Seriously, he dreams about pistons, head gaskets, timing chains and engine valves every night. We’re also happy to swap out entire engines or transmissions when that’s more cost-effective.
VEHICLE LETTERING & SIGNAGE – A little-known fact about David’s Auto is that we make our own custom signage (as you can see from every angle inside and outside our shop). Keep us in mind for custom decals and vehicle lettering.
ACCESSORIES & CUSTOMIZATION – Professional installation of trailer hitches, auxiliary lighting, mechanical upgrades… the list goes on.
INDOOR STORAGE – We rent some of our extra space for vehicle storage. It’s secure, temperature controlled and video monitored.
CAR SALES – Just to be clear, we are NOT a used car dealership. But we inadvertently find ourselves connecting people who are looking for things with other people who are looking to sell things. It’s just one of the perks of being such friendly car guys.
